famous people, who took the stage at the awards

categories, with emphasis on The Weeknd,
who appears 17 times on the list. The female
artist with the most nominations is Doja Cat,
who is up for 14 awards. K-pop phenomenon BTS
holds the record for nominations among groups,
with 7 nominations.
Presented
by Sean Combs, the 2022 Billboard Music Awards
also features performances by Megan Thee Stallion,
Latto, Burna Boy, Rauw Alejandro, Florence + The
Machine, Silk Sonic, Morgan Wallen, Maxwell, Elle
King, Becky G, Miranda Lambert, Ed Sheeran and
Travis Scott. Mary J. Blige, who completes the
line-up, is the big honoree of the night to
receive the Icon Award.
